Duties and Responsibilities will entail:

• Maintaining office diary, appointments, and travel itineraries;
• Managing e-office,
• Assisting in scheduling of meetings;
• Ensuring security of office records, equipment and documents including classified materials;
• Maintaining an up-to-date filing system in the office;
• Establishing and monitoring procedures for filing;’
• Preparing responses to correspondences;
• Assisting in management of office protocol and etiquette
• Supervising office cleanliness;
• Managing resources and supplies;
• Ensuring security, integrity, and confidentiality of information; and
• Receiving and attending to visitors.

Job Specification

• Passed in the following subjects offered by the Kenya National Examinations Council:
  
• Shorthand III (Minimum 100W.P.M.)
• Typewriting III (50 W.P.M.), or computerized document processing III
• Business English III
• Commerce II
• Office Management III/Office Administration and Management III
• Secretarial Duties II
• Office Practice II;
• Diploma in any of the following: Secretarial Management, Business Management, and Administration.
• At least four (4) years’ work experience.
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
