  • Attache who will be supporting the Finance functions in the Country Office, ensuring that all projects’ expenses are compliant with the Donor, Government and Search For Common Ground Regulations/Policies and Procedures. The S(he) will work in close collaboration with the Finance Team to ensure that we are 100% compliant & audit ready.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Organize and update filing.
  • Learn & Support in Pre-audit assessment
  • Learn & support in weekly bank & petty cash reconciliation.
  • Learn filing of withholding tax for consultant payments
  • Follow-up on submission of original documents from Administration, Program & DME Team
  • Learn and support to review supporting documents for various expenses

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree students in Finance within their third/final year of study or as per the institution industrial attachment requirements.
  • Knowledge of computer packages, especially Excel.
  • Working knowledge of the English language along with writing and communication skills.
  • Demonstrates integrity by modeling the Search values and ethical standards.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with staff to facilitate the provision of support. 
  • Selected candidates will be required to submit a valid personal accident insurance cover and a valid introduction letter from the school.
