Responsibilities:

  • Plan, strategize and organize daily activities such as: (dials, contacts, quotes, sales presentations, proposals, and meetingsto achieve department goals
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of high-value sales opportunities to meet set revenue targets
  • Create and submit weekly forecasts to help determine which clients to critically focus on to maximize sales volume and growth
  • Map potential clients along defined routes according to the Company’s segmentation of customer categories e.g, insurers, corporates, brokers, etc.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings and training as required by the company
  • Identify and share market insights important to the growth of Antara’s brand, gaps, and business opportunities
  • Contribute to the development of strategic and competitive sales and marketing concepts for Antara’s products and services
  • Participate in sales activation activities and conferences on behalf of the company
  • Maintain ethical business practices
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in a business-related field, business administration, marketing, Actuarial or related discipline preferred
  • A minimum of 4+ years experience in a similar role with 2 or more gained in medical insurance sales environment
  • Proactive and clear communicator – both written and verbal
  • Must be detail orientated, quick learner, and a self-starter with an eye for success
  • Excellent listening and presentation abilities.
  • Solid time management skills, able to manage competing priorities and outputs
  • Self-motivated, strong-willed, and yet willing to learn and collaborate with peers cross functionally to deliver on common objectives.
  • An astute negotiator with analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in MS office and web-based applications i.e Google Drive
  • Creative and innovative thinker able to turn sales losses into wins rebounding with insights and learnings fas
