COPY WRITER

As a copywriter, you will be tasked with writing innovative and original content copy to bring brand ideas to life and create lasting relationships with our various target audiences.

You will work within the Digital team and be responsible for editing the content written by other members of the team. You will be critical to maintaining the brand reliability at the online channels level. You will also be creating engaging, innovative and creative content about our
company’s product(s) and services for our target audience.

Responsibilities

• Produce original content for all our paid, owned and earned media.
• Collate detailed knowledge of the target audience of each company within the group.
• Maintain accurate tone of voice.
• Write blog articles, white papers, reports etc having comprehensive information on our products and services.
• Edit the content written by other members of the team.
• Implement the best SEO practices on the published work.
• Liaise with Designers and Content Manager to enhance textual content with graphics.
• Select the tone of language and to be used in marketing and advertising campaigns.
• Create and analyse weekly as well as monthly reports.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, and relevant field.
• 3 + years’ experience of copywriting or related communications experience required.
• Must have proficient computer experience, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train, direct, lead and evaluate the work of others.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
• Ability to judge creative concepts and copy, and clearly communicate creative direction to
  others.
