Chief Economist- Service Delivery Unit

Duties and responsibilities;

• Supporting the collection of economic data; Economic Analysis
• Formulation of development strategies;
• Identification,preparation and evaluation of development projects and programmes;
• Monitoring of the project and programme implantation;
• Conducting visibility studies, determining project viability and setting project priorities;
• Collection,collation and analysis of data relating to production and marketing of agricultural/Industrial products;
• Computerization and analysis of data;
• Writing and submitting reports on specific assignments
• Tracking and reporting on progress of the County Key Projects;
• Coordination and dissemination of Public information on the status of the Key County Projects;
• Improving the coordination of County Government flagship projects, monitoring, evaluation and reporting on timely fulfillment of Governors key development priorities;

Requirementsfor the appointment

• Bea Kenyan Citizen;
• Hold a Bachelors degree in Economics, or Economics and Mathematics, or Economics and Statistics from a recognized institution;
• Demonstrate professional ability, initiative, and competence in organizing, directing, and executing work at this level;
• Bea good team player with exemplary leadership qualities, interpersonal communication, and collaborative skills;
