Managerial/Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the branch brand strategy to support the achievement of the overall Division Strategy on profitability growth and market share
  • Supervise the sales, parts, and service teams in the branch to ensure the team is motivated and highly performing
  • Establish key performance indicators for branch personnel and track performance against such KPI’s
  • Oversee effective management and control of financial expenditure at the branch level for enhanced branch profitability
  • Implement effective systems that facilitate communication and employee participation to ensure employee retention and satisfaction.
  • Manage and monitor branch capacity in terms of human resources to ensure the branch operations are fully supported
  • Mentor and coach direct reports to support efficient and effective succession planning.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Identify business opportunities for the branch within the region to increase CASE market share
  • Monitor compliance with statutory and manufacture requirements with the support of the respective brands, to ensure minimal risk exposure to CFAO Kenya due to noncompliance
  • Network with key stakeholders within the community to promote branch services and identify business opportunities.
  • Promote customer satisfaction through timely resolution of all customer complaints at the branch and ensure best customer service delivery
  • Establish and implement Best practises in the branch based on respective branch’s customer diversified culture and needs
  • In collaboration with technical training and development teams, ensure the branch has the required competencies at all levels to ensure the provision of quality services in parts, sales, and service
  • Coordinate general administration of the branch to ensure that branch facilities and resources are safe and secure in line with 5S and Anzen guidelines
  • Coordinate the collection of information at the branch level on competitor activities to ensure the availability of information required to develop market penetration strategies in parts, sales and service.
  • Monitor the performance of the various brands on the 3S against the agreed targets, report on, and develop plans to address any gaps identified
  • Provide timely, accurate and complete management reports on branch performance against set KPI’s
  • Monitor the Branch cash sales and credit accounts to ensure full compliance with CFAO Kenya credit control policy and guidelines.
  • Promote adherence and compliance with CFAO’s COCE policy.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

(Minimum level of academic and professional qualification required to perform effectively in the role)

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering or business-related field.

Minimum level of experience required to perform effectively in the role

  • At least 5 years working experience with a reputable organization in a managerial position
  • Post graduate Diploma in Business Management or equivalent.
  • Experience in the Agricultural Industry will be an added advantage
