Position Overview:

The Project Management Officer (PMO) will be responsible for the definition and maintenance of the standards of project management and processes.
You will support the successful delivery of projects undertaken by the company, through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting. You need to share relevant information with other divisions or managers in their organization, monitor expenditures and create detailed reports for upper management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have completed Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, project management, or related field (master’s degree-an advantage).
• Preferably at least 3+ years of experience as a Project Management Officer
• SAP Business One User Experience (advantageous)
• MARI Project - Project Management Software User Experience (advantageous)

Responsibilities:

• Project Documentation
• New and existing customer project setup and administration on Seidor systems
• Resource scheduling on open projects (contracts / tasks)
• Vetting for All Proposals / Pricing indications
• Project overview – budget control and change requests
• Project procurement contract (purchase orders and time capture on behalf of subcontractors)
• Software renewals (maintain)
• Subscriptions (maintain)
• System invoicing preparation (all customer components)
• Intercompany billing (customer and purchase orders)
• Intercompany report (monthly)
• Timesheets monitor against open tasks – follow up on status with assigned consulting team
• Travel records – customer approvals for invoicing and staff claims related report per month
• Project closure (contract completion after final billing)
• Project closure (closure with project team and handover to support facilitate)
• Assist and overview of monthly WIP report
• SAP License Requests
• Add-On License Requests
• SAP Portal Issues – License Queries Only
• SAP Portal – s users for new employees and manage customer accounts
• New Operations staff – induction on project management system for time capture.
• Dealing with ad-hoc business queries as required by management from time to time

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance/Accounting, project management, or related field (master’s degree-an advantage).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• At least 3-4 years proven experience leading and managing ERP /SAP Business One projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Good communication skills and able to manage different level of stakeholders.
• Willing to travel if required
• Current SAP Business One Application Associate certified – an advantage
• Knowledge of and experience on SAP HANA - an advantage
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage SAP Business One projects across East Africa and surrounding regions from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Facilitate project meetings, including internal handovers, kick-off meetings, status meetings, and post-mortem reviews.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop project plans and metrics, work plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against them.
• Coordinate and communicate with project team members, stakeholders, and third pparty vendors to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Monitor project performance and report on progress to stakeholders, including status updates, milestones achieved, and variances from plan.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Manage project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, task lists, change log, risk registers, and other relevant artifacts.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Convey and report status to executives, and key stakeholders.
• Present formal presentations and executive summaries to senior management to provide recommendations and status updates
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, signing up new customers and upselling Networking managed services and cloud hosting to existing customers. Managing customer success by building and maintaining relationships and growth. Seidor is looking for an experienced and energetic SAP Business One PreSales Consultant to join the team in Nairobi. The person will need to interact with- and be active in centers and regions that require coverage, such as Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Mauritius, and other nominated African Countries. The Pre Sales Consultant will be an expert in SAP Business One and agreed vertical industry solution extensions so to present the business solution and value proposition to prospect, supplementing effective sales engagement cycles. Presales is responsible for functional/technical demonstration to the prospective client through the in-person or online presentation. He/she generally is an expert taking reference from their own experiences in the marketplace.

Position Overview:

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment with demonstrable proficiency and thorough knowledge of SAP Business One. 
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques. Be able to develop and deliver high-quality SAP Business One presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features are benefits together with future innovation. Although primarily based in Kenya, the candidate will be required to travel within East Africa or other African countries and travel frequency depends on sales activity.

Training will be provided in areas such as presentation skills or as needed. The candidate will be expected to continuously understand and be able to demonstrate all aspects of SAP Business One including new version enhancements. The successful candidate will also be expected to understand selected vertical industry solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Business or Commerce
• 7+ years' consulting experience in SAP Business One with SAP Business One Certification
• Superior and in-depth knowledge of all SAP Business One modules
• Good knowledge of HANA Analytical Reporting / Dashboards / KPI's or similar BI solution

• Develop and scope the SAP Business One solution, document the phased strategy and budget
• Provide expert support and advice to the sales team
• Conduct requirements gathering to understand prospect business issues to formulate value propositions
• Document requirements and prepare service estimate, assist with value proposition and proposal
• Deliver well- prepared & rehearsed SAP Business One demonstration and POC (Proof of Concept)
• Orchestrate presentations with 3rd party solution extension providers
