The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and abilities and those who do not meet the criteria need not apply:

• Upper 2nd Class degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Ability to effectively manage a team of technicians.
• Knowledge of Synchroteam Field Service or a similar platform, and data analytics skills are an advantage.
• At least two years of similar work experience, preferably in Field Service Operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Power BI.
• High integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Experience with IMS and ISO standards, fleet management, and familiarity with fleet management platforms is an added advantage.

Reporting to the Group Service Manager, the job holder will be responsible for the following key tasks:

• Developing and updating work processes and documentation.
• Managing technicians and execution of annual maintenance contracts on the Synchroteam platform.
• Reporting on service performance and technicians’ productivity.
• Enhancing visibility and time accountability by incorporating new features and processes on Synchroteam.
• Improving service SOPs and verifying accuracy of task duration and charges through time reports.
• Coordinating teleservice activities.
• Maintaining detailed and regular group fleet records.
• Monitoring fleet safety compliance and efficient operation.
• Ensuring drivers’ adherence to applicable transport regulations.
• Managing fleet costs and developing strategies for cost efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

• Oversee the development, execution and monitoring of credit policies, systems, and solutions.
• Develop and deploy an appropriate product marketing mix in collaboration with the marketing and sales teams.
• Develop and implement a credit collection and asset repossession strategy, in consultation with Senior Management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential funders and structure, negotiate and manage loan facilities.
• Oversee overall risk management for the company.
• Manage legal, contracting and compliance matters, in liaison with Daylipa’s legal counsel.
• Provide direction, guidance, and support to the credit team to maintain a healthy debt book.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in consumer finance and credit risk management (preferably in PAYG sector), latterly at Departmental Manager level or similar.
• Graduate degree in Commerce / Business Studies, Economics, or any other relevant field with minimum Upper Second-Class Degreefrom a recognised institution.
• MBA or Masters degree in relevant discipline is an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in developing flexible and affordable asset financing schemes for mass-market customers.
• Experience in capital and debt finance structuring.

The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Designs & Documentation Manager and be charged with the following responsibilities.

• Product Development, requirement elicitation and planning.
• Preparation of new product documentation.
• Preparation & interpretation of production drawings and customer requirements.
• Support Sales teams in preparation of submittals for Industrial Projects.
• Support Sales teams in preparation of costings for engineered solutions. Quality control and assurance.
• Materials sourcing, ordering, preparation and usage monitoring for assembled products & solutions.
• Observing Safety, Kaizen and 5S Initiatives within the department.

Qualification and Experience: -

• Must have upper 2nd class degree in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution.

Reporting to the Service Manager, Nairobi Office, the Field Service Technician- Plumbing and Water Treatment Technologies will be responsible for achievement of the following key tasks;

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing and water treatment systems, including but not limited to water softeners, filtration systems, pumps, pipes, and fixtures.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently, both onsite and remotely.
• Collaborate with customers to identify their needs and provide appropriate solutions, including recommending upgrades or additional services.
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Conduct training for customers in the field and in workshops for the company’s products and applications.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water treatment processes, and related equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, and controls.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to travel to customer sites as required.

  • Rapid prototyping of equipment and software systems
