About the Role

You will lead Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and Transport Management operations for all Tupande locations across all our regions of operation ensuring the provision of exceptional, cost-effective services that positively impact productivity, increase sustainability and result in an excellent experience for all staff.

  • You will be in the Corporate Operations Department within the People Division
  • You will report to the Corporate Operations Lead

You will manage the Deputy Transport Supervisor (1)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the OSH compliance for all relevant Tupande locations across all our regions of operation including annual audits, related training and recommendation implementation.
  • Oversee daily fleet/transport operations to maintain exceptional service provision.
  • Review the budgets and implement cost-savings measures while maintaining service quality
  • Develop a performance culture through mentorship and professional development.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture, implementing initiatives to boost team morale.

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • Diploma in a relevant field. 
  • 2+ years of work experience in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
  • 2+ years of work experience in fleet/transport management or related field. .
  • 2 years of project management and implementation. 
  • Proficiency with maintaining spreadsheets and databases. 
  • Efficient work organisation.
  • Ability to build and lead cohesive teams
  • English and Kiswahili required.

As soon as possible

Job Location

  • Kakamega, Kenya, with occasional travel to our regional offices. This job is onsite and you will be in the office 100% of the time.
