Job Description

Overview of the role

  • The Key role is a combination of Quality assurance and Product Management. This role will ensure the final product satisfies business objectives and user expectations.  The role will also be the bridge between the business case and the technical capabilities of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the project’s Quality Assurance strategy.
  • Monitor and continuously refine the Quality Assurance strategy.
  • Work to understand root cause and solutions to recurring bugs.
  • Help developers test their software.
  • Participate in product reviews and get approvals from stakeholders.
  • Read and analyze technical system specifications and validate the deliverable.
  • Validate features by comparing Business Case to final delivered features.
  • Bug investigation, regression testing and solution proposals.
  • Provide feedback on usability and suggest possible improvements.
  • Manual QA testing on a variety of systems: web-based applications, mobile & tablet applications.
  • Create and maintain technical and process documentation required for the role.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Effectively communicate with the Board in presenting status reports on ongoing projects.
  • Documentation and regular updates of User Manuals, FAQs, User Tool Tips

Qualifications

Required qualification, experience & skills

  • Holder of or Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in information technology.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and passionate about technology
  • Strong sense of urgency, problem solving and follow up skills.
  • Strong work ethic that thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Maintaining high activity with strong time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Works well in a highly collaborative team
  • Works well in a remote based, highly collaborative team
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and to prioritize work.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
