Responsibilities

  • Continuously strengthen capacity of project team and health care workers at facility and community levels to ensure timely, complete and accurate reporting of data
  • Conduct joint routine data quality assessments with MOH including continuous quality improvement activities for OF program
  • Perform routine data cleaning and ensure the validity, accuracy, consistency and completeness of OF data at facility and community levels
  • Strengthen use of data for decision making by supporting MOH to conduct OF data review meetings
  • Facilitate program and research data analysis and assist in data visualization processes 
  • Coordinate routine program and research data review including support for qualitative and quantitative data collection processes
  • Assist in the development and execution of Research and Learning plans including data collection, cleaning, validation, analysis and triangulation
  • Support program teams in developing implementation research protocols and implementation of field research activities  
  • Documentation of M&E activities and indicator results for progress and annual reports, as appropriate
  • Support program team in documentation of project learnings including publications 
  • Work closely with Jhpiego staff to ensure effective, timely and coordinated project implementation  

Required Qualifications

  • A first degree in Statistics, Health Informatics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • 3+ years of work experience in data management, preferably for health sector development programs  
  • Working experience with Ministry of Health DHIS  systems and personnel is an added advantage
  • Must have hands on experience in statistical analysis packages – R, STATA; SPSS, DHIS2 and/or excel
  • Strong research skills. Excellent in quantitative and qualitative methodologies
  • Familiarity with national and global health indicators 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
