Specific Duties 

  • Consolidation of Procurement plans
  • Track the procurement plans to ensure procurements are done within the approved timelines
  • Publish quotations/RfPs as guided by the Regional Procurement Officer
  • Analyze quotations and present them to the relevant officials for approval as guided.
  • Preparation of requisitions/purchase orders to approved suppliers & ensure complete pack is attached to the PO in timely manner
  • Track and follow up purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Preparation of specific supplier contracts and facilitation of the contracting process
  • Updating and tracking of contract register
  • Updating the procurement tracker and sharing reports on a weekly basis
  • Generate and avail relevant procurement reports.
  • In a timely manner, respond to user’s enquiries on procurement status.
  • Maintenance and updating of the pre-qualified supplier list
  • Maintenance and updating of debarred suppliers list.
  • Ensure the complete payment pack is scanned and available in the shared drive for reference.
  • Ensure efficient customer service delivery.
  • Communicate with vendors on tender award decisions
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirement

Education;

  • Degree in Procurement and Supplies Management
  • A member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM)
  • CIPS accreditation – Level 2

Work Experience;

  • Should have completed university within the last 2 years

Language Proficiency;

  • English
