Job Title: E-commerce Manager

Department: Sales/Marketing/Operations 

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer 

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced E-commerce Manager to lead and execute our online sales strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our e-commerce operations, from platform management and online marketing to order fulfillment and customer service. A crucial aspect of this role is experience with online delivery platforms like Glovo and Uber Eats, along with a solid understanding of operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Platform Management: Manage and optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions on our e-commerce website and third-party platforms (including marketplaces).
    Maintain accurate product information, inventory levels, and visual content.
    Monitor platform performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
    Stay up-to-date with platform updates, features, and best practices.
  • Online Sales & Marketing: Develop and implement e-commerce sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    Plan and execute online marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing.
    Analyze campaign performance, identify key metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize ROI.
    Manage online advertising budgets and track spending.
  • Operations & Logistics: Oversee order processing, fulfillment, and shipping, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
    Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse/logistics team.
    Implement efficient order management systems and processes.
    Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns, ensuring excellent customer service.

    Crucially, manage and optimize performance on delivery platforms such as Glovo and Uber Eats. This includes: Menu management and optimization.
    Promotional campaign management within the platforms.
    Monitoring performance metrics (e.g., order volume, delivery times, customer ratings).
    Troubleshooting issues and resolving customer complaints related to deliveries.
    Working with platform representatives to improve visibility and performance.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on e-commerce performance.
    Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    Use data to inform decision-making and optimize e-commerce strategies.
  • Team Collaboration:Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive and effective e-commerce strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce management, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrable experience managing operations and optimizing performance on delivery platforms such as Glovo and Uber Eats is essential.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, online marketing channels, and digital analytics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and e-commerce software/platforms.
  • Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
