Job Specification:

Duties and responsibilities will entail assisting:

• Undertake general and routine servicing of plant and equipment;
• Perform cleaning services for plant and equipment and ensure tidiness of the working environment;
• Collect, sort and dispose general workshop/plant waste;
• Ensure safe custody of cleaning materials, tools and equipment;
• Assist in preparing and servicing machinery and equipment;
• Move or carry office equipment, furniture and ensure orderly arrangement;
• Operate machinery and equipment;
• Carry out repairs and maintenance of the property equipment and accessories such as elevators, escalators, water pumps, fire equipment and generators;
• Conduct inspection of facilities to identify, confirm and report any maintenance related issues or potential problems for escalation and action;
• Undertake construction works, repairs and maintenance of building and infrastructure;
• Work with the immediate supervisor to requisition for repairs as required
• Address minor tenant complaints

Person Specification:

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:-

• National Trade Test III certificate in the area of specialization or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Fulfils the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
