Position Description

mPharma is looking for a responsible and trustworthy professional with exceptionally high work standards to join our team as the Physician Engagement Associate. This role reports directly to the Program Manager, Weight Management Program. The Physician Engagement Associate will play a critical role in expanding our network of physicians by enrolling them into mPharma’s Center of Excellence for the Weight Management Program. This role is essential in building and nurturing relationships with healthcare providers, driving physician engagement, and promoting the weight management program.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively identify, recruit, and onboard physicians into the Weight Management Program’s Center of Excellence network.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure ongoing engagement and participation in the program.
• Effectively communicate the benefits of the Weight Management Program to physicians, highlighting the clinical value and patient outcomes. Deliver presentations, provide marketing materials, and organize webinars or workshops to promote the program.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for physicians, including providing training on mPharma’s clinical assessment tools and guiding them on the referral process for enrolling patients in the program.
• Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics, and private practices to engage with physicians, resolve any concerns, and provide updates on the program.
• Track physician recruitment progress, referral volumes, and engagement levels. Provide weekly and monthly reports to the Program Manager on the status of physician engagement efforts and overall recruitment targets.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in obesity management and healthcare delivery to effectively communicate the value of the Weight Management Program to physicians.

Qualifications

The Pharm Tech will work closely with a diverse set of mPharma team members to set up and operate community pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing advice about health issues, symptoms, and medications in response to customer inquiries
• Developing workflow; verifying preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
• Tracking inventory and supporting the Pharmacist with ordering and selling medicines and other stock
• Complying with regulatory requirements by maintaining records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory; supervising the work results of support personnel; maintaining current registration; studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; advising management on needed actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform periodic review and documentation of Standard Operating Procedure and Policy Manuals for Operational control, Credit control and Transactions reconciliation from time to time with a view to ensure they are all aligned with the changing business needs and models.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly exception reports to be sent to the Country Lead.
• Reports risk management issues and internal controls deficiencies identified directly to the Internal Control Lead.
• Evaluate compliance with existing mPharma policies and procedures, identifying and proposing modifications as needed.
• Continuously identify areas of strengths and weaknesses and engage in continuous education and staff development of best practices.
• Ensure compliance of all transaction executions and operational activities with approved controls. Escalate and report non-compliance with controls.

• Ensure all inventory and bank balances across Kenya’s operations are reconciled on a monthly basis for review.
• Ensure credit management processes comply with approved credit policies to ensure zero delinquent credits.

Position Description

• mPharma is looking for an entrepreneurially-minded professional to join its growing primary care business unit. This role will be directly responsible for the commercialization of different primary care initiatives, including but not limited to Mutti doctor (our virtual doctor consult), community health screenings, mutti wellness (our at-home preventative healthcare service), and mLab (our rapid diagnostics service offered through Mutti pharmacies) and Pharmacy First Program (our mutti doctor in partnership with health insurance companies) .This role will own the day-to-day operations of these initiatives and take them from pilot to scale and profitability. The Primary Care Junior Associate will manage all stakeholders (internal and external) to drive scale and improve health outcomes for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day seamless operations of primary care initiatives at Mutti pharmacies e.g ensuring stocks & consumables used by nurses are available ,Tytocare device training and retraining amongst other operations .
• Deliver on agreed revenue, footfall, and Mutti registration targets.
• Take mPharma’s primary care initiatives from pilot to scale and profitability.
• Research, develop and implement strategies to expand adoption of primary care initiatives at Mutti pharmacies and beyond.
• Explore additional use cases for different primary care initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including different mPharma business units, nurses, doctors, Mutti pharmacy owners, and pharmacy technicians .
• Fully own the process of onboarding new facilities and establish effective channels to deliver primary care initiatives through Mutti pharmacies.
• Build relevant datasets and reports to track enrollment numbers, patient satisfaction, and overall experience.
• Provide timely reports of different primary care initiatives that will assist in making relevant decisions in line with the company's vision.
• Enlist customer feedback to improve service delivery.

• The PharmTech Trainee Program (PTP) is a 4-month internship program that offers aspiring pharmacy professionals hands-on experience and a solid foundation in the field of pharmacy. Each trainee will be matched to a manager and a mentor throughout the program. Our trainees will have the unique opportunity to learn and apply skills in various facets of pharmacy operations, from dispensing medications, to customer service and clinical pharmacy services. This role is open across multiple locations including Nairobi, Kisumu, Machakos and Nakuru.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pharmacists in daily tasks such as dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing patient counseling.
• Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately following established protocols and under the guidance of the pharmacist.
• Provide medication counseling to patients, including instructions on proper dosage, administration, and potential side effects.
• Assist in reconciling medication lists to ensure accuracy and continuity of care for patients transitioning between healthcare settings.
• Dispense and update the DDR/Dangerous Drug Register in real time.

Position Description

• mPharma is looking for a responsible and trustworthy nurse with exceptionally high work standards to join our Health Services team. You would be responsible for continuous client care and follow-ups under our various primary health care initiatives.    

 Key Responsibilities

•   Educating, coaching, and mentoring of patients under specific disease management programs, following a standardized yet personalized approach, with regular specified interactions to assist patients with adherence.
•   Track all client progress and outcomes for appropriate follow-up.
•   Submission of accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on all activities.
•   Ensure test results are recorded following protocols and alerting providers about abnormal results.  
• Carry out activities related to ensuring patients obtain optimal clinical outcomes.
•   Recording and submitting Adverse Event reports within a defined time period.
•   Liaise with other business/functional units to ensure all resources and requirements are met to ensure the smooth running of all programs.
•   Lead activities to increase client enrolment under disease management programs .
