Key Responsibilities

• Initial management, stabilization and treatment of patients
• Facilitate referral of patients who need hospitalization and following them up upon admission.
• Ensuring patient referral is done to appropriate specialists if need be.
• Available on call at night, working during weekends and public holidays
• Facilitating Customer complaint handling and problem solving as per the quality procedures stipulated by the University QMS
• Undertaking Clinical Procedures
• Ensure availability of supplies and provide support and health education to patients
• Facilitating Continuous Medical education at the Kabarak University Medical centre
• Any other duty assigned to you by the Senior Medical Officer or University Authority

Qualifications and skills

• A degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Additional certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS or PALS will be an added advantage.
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical judgment skills.
• At least one-year post-internship experience.
• Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
• Should have a valid private practice license.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble media and equipment used in pharmaceutical microbiology, microbiology & pathology experiments and demonstrations.
• Assist students and faculty with instructional and research activities.
• Issue, receive, store and manage stock of laboratory materials and supplies.
• Perform laboratory practicals on time as stipulated in the manual and the laboratory practical schedule.
• Set up lab equipment and prepare chemical solutions.
• Analyse lab report for accuracy.
• Operate and calibrate equipment.
• Deliver tests results to lecturers, researchers and students where necessary.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Dean, School of Pharmacy.

Qualifications and skills

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/ Technology.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.

Qualifications and skills

• Graduated or completed a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from Kabarak University, Strathmore University, or the Technical University of Mombasa between 2022-2024.
• Experience in Using Node.JS, Typescript, HAPI Server, React, Kotlin, FHIR SDK and docker.
• Experience with Software development methodologies, project management and version control.
• Knowledge of basic healthcare ecosystem concepts, processes and Information systems.
• Participation in Open Health stack, HealthIT and Data Science hackathons/booth camps will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching and research. (Four Courses per semester)

Qualifications and skills

• Hold a PhD degree or its academic equivalent in the relevant field.

OR

• A Masters degree in the relevant field with atleast 3 years teaching experience as a Lecturer at university level
• A minimum of 24 publications points, of which at least sixteen (16) should be from refeered journal papers.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Emails and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, WhatsApp)
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Proficient in using computers and common software applications
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities    

• Triage patients and prioritize attention accordingly.
• Collaborate with clinicians and fellow nurses during any emergency response.
• Evacuate referral cases to various destinations.
• Administering the prescribed medications/injections.
• Conduct all other nursing procedures and maintain sensitivity to patient’s needs.
• Document procedures and other patient details as required.
• Inspect the facility and maintain high levels of hygiene and safety standards.
• Ensure monthly reports are submitted to relevant authorities.

Qualifications and skills    

• Kenya registered community health nurse with a minimum of a Diploma in Community Health Nursing from a recognized institution.
• At least three (3) years’ work experience.
• Valid practice license and certificate from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).
• Certificate of good conduct.
• Must be willing to work extra hours.
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Must be a good team player.
• Must be able to engage with young adults and successfully win their confidence.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Previous work experience in a learning institution will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities    

• Complete various editorial tasks, including preliminary review of manuscripts, editing and copyediting.
• Manage correspondence with prospective and contracted authors.
• Manage contractual relationships with design, printing and other external service providers.
• Administer relations with book retailers and represent KABU Press at book promotion events.
• Offer comprehensive administrative support to the Editor-in-Chief, KABU Press.
• Any other duties assigned.

Qualifications and skills    

• Should be holder of at least a master’s degree in any discipline imparting editorial and administrative skills, with at least 3 years relevant working experience
• OR or at least a first degree in any discipline imparting editorial and administrative skills with at least 5 years working experience.
• Must be conversant with relevant aspects of information technology.
• Must have an excellent command of English. A published writing sample will be required.

Key Responsibilities    

• Menu Planning
• Supervise the preparation of all food
• Oversee and supervise all kitchen staff
• Kitchen stocks: Oversee the ordering and control of stock levels
• Hygiene and Safety: Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards

• A minimum of five (5) years of working experience in a 4 star hotel kitchen in a similar position
