Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and skills

• PhD or equivalent degree qualification in Nurising (Mental Health) or any related field from recognized university
• At least three (3) yaers of teaching experience at the university level as Tutorial Fellow
• Be registerd by nursing council of kenya (NCK)
• Must have a minimum of 24 publication points since appointed as a Tutorial Fellow of which at least 16 should be from refereed journal papers

Key Responsibilities    

• Playing the role of providing technical support
• To serve as a key resource in activity areas that ensures the delivery of the project activities
• Provide project reports from the variuos aligned and related activities in the workplan
• Any other related activities directed by the county Proximate University Project Coordinator (PC) with liaison with the HealthIT Chief of Party (COP)

Qualifications and skills    

• Familiar with agile or other rapid appication development methodologies
• Recent CPU graduate in ICT
• BSc in Computer Science/Data Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent course.
• Experience with sotware design, development and automated design
• Understanding of REST, APIs,JSONP and web services Technologies
• Participation in hackathon/bootcamp will be an added advantage
• Understanding of use of version control using git
• Experience in programming using python/Django,PHP, JavaEE and AngularJS

Key Responsibilities

• Initial management, stabilization and treatment of patients
• Facilitate referral of patients who need hospitalization and following them up upon admission.
• Ensuring patient referral is done to appropriate specialists if need be.
• Available on call at night, working during weekends and public holidays
• Facilitating Customer complaint handling and problem solving as per the quality procedures stipulated by the University QMS
• Undertaking Clinical Procedures
• Ensure availability of supplies and provide support and health education to patients
• Facilitating Continuous Medical education at the Kabarak University Medical centre
• Any other duty assigned to you by the Senior Medical Officer or University Authority

Qualifications and skills

• A degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery
• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Additional certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS or PALS will be an added advantage.
• Excellent diagnostic and clinical judgment skills.
• At least one-year post-internship experience.
• Must be registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
• Should have a valid private practice license.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble media and equipment used in pharmaceutical microbiology, microbiology & pathology experiments and demonstrations.
• Assist students and faculty with instructional and research activities.
• Issue, receive, store and manage stock of laboratory materials and supplies.
• Perform laboratory practicals on time as stipulated in the manual and the laboratory practical schedule.
• Set up lab equipment and prepare chemical solutions.
• Analyse lab report for accuracy.
• Operate and calibrate equipment.
• Deliver tests results to lecturers, researchers and students where necessary.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Dean, School of Pharmacy.

Qualifications and skills

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/ Technology.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
