• An earned PhD or an equivalent degree qualification in clinical nursing specialties of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Critical Care Nursing and Maternal Neonatal Nursing from a recognized academic institution. The Master’s degree shall have an equivalent in Fellowship recognised by the Medical Council of Kenya
• A minimum of forty-eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least thirty-two (32) should be from refereed scholarly journals
• At least three (3) years of teaching, research and clinical experience as a Senior Lecturer at the University level/research or industry
• Supervision of postgraduate students will be added advantage.
• Attracted research or development funds as a Senior Lecturer /Senior Research Fellow
• Be registered with relevant professional body

• An earned Diploma in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation or any relevant field from a University or any other recognized institution of higher learning.
• At least three (3) years working experience in an institution of higher learning or industry.

• An earned PhD or an equivalent degree qualification in Internal Medicine from a recognized institution
• Must have a Masters of Medicine in Psychiatry or Internal Medicine from a recognized University. The Master’s degree shall have an equivalent in Fellowship recognised by the Medical Council of Kenya
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at Associate Professor or equivalent and research experience
• Have minimum of sixty (60) research and publication points since attaining Associate Professorship of equivalent of which at forty (40) must be from referred scholarly journals
• Supervision of postgraduate students will be an added advantage
• Attracted research or development funds as an Associate Professor (vi) Be registered with relevant professional body

• At least three (3) years of teaching, research and clinical experience as a senior lecturer at the University level/research or industry

• An earned PhD in Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from a recognized University. The Master’s degree shall have an equivalent in Fellowship recognised by the Medical Council of Kenya. The fellowship may be in any of the four of specialisations
  • Gynecologic Oncology
  • Infertility
  • Uro-Gynaecology
  • Foeto – maternal medicine will be an added advantage
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University as a Senior Lecturer level or Senior Researcher/ Industry experience or equivalent
• Minimum of forty-eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent of which least thirty-two (32) must be from refereed scholarly journals
• Supervision of postgraduate students will be added advantage
• Have attracted research funds or development funds as Senior Lecturer

• Be Computer Literate in data analysis using Excel, Proficiency in data using SSP and / or R programming will be an added advantage

• Fellowship Training recognised by the Medical Council of Kenya
• Fellowship may be in any of the four specialisations
  • Gynecologic Oncology

• A minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points, as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty-four (24) should be in refereed scholarly journals
• At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University as a Senior Lecturer level or Senior Researcher/ Industry experience or equivalent
• Supervision of postgraduate students will be an added advantage.
• Attracted research or development funds as a Senior Lecturer /Senior Research Fellow

Applicants MUST have the following academic/professional qualifications:

• Have a Ph.D in Medicine (MMed) in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery from a recognized University or fellowship (COSESCA) in ENT.

OR

• Master of Medicine (MMEd) in in Ear, Nose and Throat surgery from a recognized University or fellowship (COSESCA) in ENT. The Master’s degree shall have an equivalent in Fellowship Training recognized by the Medical Council of Kenya
• Have at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University level as a Lecturer or six years research/clinical practice
• Have attracted research or development funds as a Lecturer/ Research Fellow
• Supervision of postgraduate students will be an added advantage
• Be registered with a relevant professional body
