Job Purpose: 
The Foundation and Investor Relations Manager is responsible for leading the foundation's initiatives while managing investor relations to enhance engagement and support. This role involves executing strategies that promote the foundation's mission and impact within the community, as well as fostering strong relationships with Britam investors and stakeholders. The manager will oversee grant management, program implementation, and compliance, while also crafting effective communication strategies to convey the organization’s value proposition to the investor community.

Key responsibilities:
Foundation Operations:

• Lead the daily operations of the foundation, ensuring visibility and impact of initiatives within the
  community.
• Define goals and develop implementation plans for foundation initiatives aligned with the organization's values and objectives.
• Oversee grant-making operations, including actual grant proposal preparations and actual donor identification.
• Design and implement new programs and initiatives that address community needs and align with the foundation's mission.
• Establish and maintain systems for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of programs, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular assessments to measure the social impact of foundation initiatives and write reports that can be used for Board deliberations, Donors reports and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and leaders to foster collaboration and support for foundation initiatives. 
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for various foundation programs and events. 
• Ensure all foundation activities comply with applicable laws, reporting requirements, and internal policies. 
• Communicate to internal stakeholders on the ongoings of the Foundation on a regular basis. 
• Board reports preparations and presentations as needed. 
• Marketing the Foundation to external parties and International prospective partners.
• Support the creation of presentations, press releases, and other materials for investor communications and events, including quarterly earnings calls and annual reports. 
• Coordinate and schedule meetings with investors, analysts, and financial media to discuss the foundation's impact and investment opportunities. 
• Implement a system for gathering and addressing feedback from investors to enhance relationships and communication. 
• Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address any potential issues that may arise in investor relations. 
• Leads the use of statistical targeting to identify good-fit institutional investors.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or related fields.
• 4-7 years of experience in a similar role, with 2-3 years in a managerial capacity within a corporate foundation or nonprofit organization.
• Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., PRSK, MSK, IPRA, CIM) is preferred.
• Professional qualification in Finance/Investment (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable outcomes.

Job Purpose:

• A role holder  will be responsible of  in driving Britam Asset Managers (BAM) customer engagement, and revenue growth. He/She will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with business goals, analyzing market trends to identify opportunities, and managing campaigns across various channels. 

Key responsibilities:

• Develop annual BAM marketing strategies in liaison with the Head of Marketing.
• Formulate annual BAM marketing budgets in liaison with the Corporate Director and the Head of Marketing.
• Collaborate with BAM segment lead to understand product offerings and target customers and align on marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Manage and coordinate all BAM segment marketing, advertising, PR, promotional activities in liaison with Group Marketing Manager. 
• Liaise with the advertising company/ Agency.
• Responsible for the BAM segment content on Company’s website, including content development and continuous updating of the website and intranet.
• Co-ordinate and support development and  innovation of BAM segment products.
• Support, facilitate, develop and implement BAM segment’s strategic marketing plans. 
• Develop promotion materials to assist BAM segment Business in marketing activities.
• Manage the execution and implementation of the BAM segment marketing plans and projects.
• Monitor, review and report on all BAM segment marketing activity and results.
• Demand generation –Carry out activities and programs that drive demand for  BAM segment’s products.
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates BAM segment’s products in the market.
• Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products. 
• Product launch – plan the launch of new products ,releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
• Market intelligence – analyze the buying patterns/behavior of all the BAM segment target audience.
• Identify and execute BAM partnerships & sponsorships opportunities.
• Branch network – conceptualize and implement all network related promotional activities.
• Be in charge of all BAM merchandise and product collateral.

Brand development and management:

• Steward of the BAM segment brand that supports brand promise, brand vision, brand position, brand architecture and achieves overall business goals for the brand.
• Ensure that all BAM  brand assets are effectively managed to deliver a strong Britam brand and grow brand equity.
• Plan, strategize and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market. 
• Assist the BAM segment to live the values, culture and practice company policies.
• Conducts analysis and periodical review of the brand, competition, customer and consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and marketplace performance.
• Analyzes and provides consumer, category, and brand information to support BAM segment‘s channel marketing and sales in category management and sales presentations.
• Provides direction for key BAM segment customer innovation summit presentations.
• Develop BAM segment growth targets, business objectives and brand strategies for the brand that aligns with Britam business plan.
• Leads the BAM segment brand planning process by developing and executing annual brand target setting & innovation review and brand strategy review. 

Research:

• Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends in financial services industry and share in monthly report.
• Follow up on weekly and monthly reports from agency partners and ensure timely execution.
• Monitor and evaluate competitor activity on both traditional and digital media and share monthly report.
• Assist in coordinating focus group discussions and in-depth interviews together with internal and external partners.

Digital Channels and Social Media Management:

• Responsible for the BAM segment content on Company’s website and social media channels, including content development and continuous updating of the website and intranet. 
• Conduct monthly website audits on BAM segment pages to ensure content is up to date.
• Measure the results of digital advertising campaigns to determine their effectiveness and cost-benefit ratio.
• Create always-on content together with digital agency. 
• Product and Brand SEO -  Collaborate across internal teams (marketing, product, technology, research, etc.) to evaluate SEO opportunities that deliver business goals, research project requirements, audit implementation, and analyze the results.
• Enhance usability, design, content and conversion of the company’s websites.
• Devise, implement and manage effective social media marketing campaigns and trends.
• Develop, implement and monitor all digital marketing campaigns (pay per click advertising, email campaigns, Search Engine Optimization, SMS, videos, blogging etc.
• Design internal communication materials i.e. emailers, e-shots, flyers.

Key Performance Measures:

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or social sciences.
• MBA in Marketing, PR will be an added advantage.

• 7- 10 years working experience in a similar position with at least 3- 4 years’ experience in management.

Job Purpose:
The role holder is responsible for executing the day-to-day tasks/projects of the Actuarial unit by performing data checks and analysis, experience investigations, business projections and valuation of technical liabilities for the assigned LOB.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the assigned Segment in the preparation of valuation data.
• Timely calculation of accurate insurance technical liabilities provided for monthly financial reporting as well as carrying out Reserve Adequacy Tests. This includes preparation of reports on valuation results.
• Timely calculation of solvency on monthly basis.
• Carry out experience investigations as directed e.g. on expenses, product portfolio experience, intermediary loss ratio reports, etc.
• Prepare input data for the annual business planning exercise, strategy reviews and for capital management/solvency purposes as well as Stress and Scenario testing on the projections.
• Coordinate with the assigned Segment in the preparation of data for the management and board reports.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, experience and qualifications required:

• University Degree in actuarial science, statistics, engineering, mathematics, physics, economics or related field with strong emphasis on mathematical proficiency.
• Entry level.
• Progress in Institute of Actuaries examinations (2 paper).

Job Purpose:    

• Reporting to the Manager Legal Claims, the role holder is responsible for ensuring the department meets its targets on all recovery matters from Insurance companies and third parties. 

Key responsibilities:

• Review documents and pertinent requirements regarding an insurance claim.
• Ensure that the insurance claim made by the claimant is complete in form and complies with the documentary requirements of an insurance claim.
• Advice customers regarding basic matters about their insurance coverage in relation to the insurance claim.
• Respond to both internal and external claims inquiries concerning benefits, claims processes, service providers, and the filing/completion of proper forms.
• Record all claims transactions including appointment of advocates, doctors and investigators.
• Ensure that matters allocated are constantly tracked and updated in the registers.
• Update legal claims registers for claims meetings and update the various claims reports.
• Track and follow up on appeal deposits.
• Assist in giving advice on legal issues, compile comprehensive file notes both in the event of judgments and out of court matters.
• Assist in the review of reserves as per the reserving guidelines.
• Assist in managing external Advocates on Britam Panel of Advocates through pro-active interaction and correspondences.
• Review advocates legal costs to ensure that the same are within the SLA and Advocates Remuneration Order. 
• Review status updates as received by advocates in an effort to keep abreast with all ongoing briefs and advice maintain adequate reserves  based on the established reserving guidelines and documentation received from the panel advocates.
• Process payments to insured’s and service providers.

Job Purpose:

• The Underwriting Specialist will assist in the underwriting process by reviewing proposal forms and verifying client data. This role involves assessing and pricing proposed risks within established guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely determination of policy terms. The role holder will also support the review of policy conditions to facilitate quality risk selection and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Key responsibilities:
General Underwriting Support:

• Assist in determining the acceptability of risks under the supervision of senior staff.
• Support the preparation of renewal notices and follow up to ensure client retention.
• Help in the preparation and organization of underwriting documents for review.
• Maintain accurate records of premiums and ensure they are processed in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain effective business relationships with clients and intermediaries.

Risk Surveys:

• Participate in risk/site surveys under the guidance of senior specialists, assisting in the assessment of risk conditions.

• As a Junior SOC Analyst, you will play a vital role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents to ensure the integrity and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools to identify potential security incidents.
• Conduct initial triage and analysis of security alerts to determine their validity and severity.
